Dragon Slayer Steve

On a  St. Georgeous Day shoot morning, Sunday 22nd April, the members of the King's Lynn Bowmen met to slay some dragons of our own.

On our 2nd St.George's Day clout,  at about 120 yards,  the members shot a variety of longbows and bare bows at the two dragons trying to miss the Knights stationed in front keeping them at bay.

Steve Wardlow (pictured left) was the first archer to fatally wound a dragon, but as the morning progressed they incurred an onslaught of hits worthy of St.George himself.

Trek over to the members area for a full run down of how people scored, and come back later for some more photos of the day's events.
