By George! We had a good day!

This year's St George's day tournament took place on Sunday. It was a great turn out of archers with an assortment of bow types used and a variety of rounds to compete for. The weather was kind to us and the setting was perfect under the fluttering flag of St George. The shooting commenced a little after 9.30 and continued at a leisurely pace until just after 2pm - with time enough for breaks and distance changes and the medal ceremony at the end presided over by our Lord Paramount for the day -Daryl Buck (Thomas' Dad!). Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to John for the all number-crunching on the day, to Daryl for giving out the medals and to everyone for taking part.
