A message from County...

Following the Norfolk County committee meeting this week, I can confirm that Norfolk Archery are hoping to send teams again this year to the National County Team Championships at Lilleshall. 

I am therefore looking for anyone who is interested in putting their names forward to shoot for the county at this shoot to contact me.  Team entries are accepted in gender specific teams of three, i.e. 3 x gents recurve is one team.  Teams can be formed in Longbow, Recurve and Compound.

Depending on the number of names that are put forward we may need to implement some sort of selection procedure, but at present I am looking to gauge interest.

The shoot is on 24th and 25th June at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Shropshire.  The rounds to be shot are a WA70M or WA50M (depending on bow type) followed by a team head to head, then a WA1440 on the second day.  The county will be paying the entry fee for each team, archers are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation for the shoot.
